Community advisory boards
Mayo Clinic's Center for Clinical and Translational Science supports six community advisory boards that provide valuable community perspectives to help inform Mayo Clinic's research, programs and community engagement activities. Community advisory boards are composed of community members, organizational leaders, patients, caregivers and other stakeholders. They offer guidance on community priorities, research relevance and opportunities for meaningful engagement.
Through these site- and population-based boards, members help ensure that research and programs reflect the needs, experiences and priorities of the communities that they serve.

2014 |
Provide local perspective, feedback and guidance on community-engaged research efforts in Maricopa County, Arizona, and neighboring counties. |
| Pediatrics |
2019 |
Provide guidance on research involving children and adolescents. Members are under 18. |
| Healthy Nations |
2021 |
Provide guidance on community-engaged research efforts with Indigenous communities. Members are tribal health leaders. |
| Midwest Rural Health Research |
2022 |
Provide guidance on rural community-engaged research efforts across the Midwestern communities that Mayo Clinic Health System serves. |
