Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Faculty Service Award
The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Faculty Service Award is designed to recognize outstanding service to the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology that goes beyond traditional measures such as publications or grant funding. Eligible nominees include associate consultants, senior associate consultants and consultants from any Mayo Clinic site who are primary or secondary members of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Each spring, faculty are invited via email to submit one nomination each, including self-nominations, by a specified deadline. The Recognition and Acclaim Committee reviews submissions and selects the recipient. Then this recipient is announced at the Ehlers Symposium/Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Research Retreat in the summer.
