Bioinformatics Core
The Mayo Clinic Bioinformatics Core serves as a shared resource within Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The Bioinformatics Core provides bioinformatics services and collaborative research support to Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center investigators engaged in genomics studies with a high impact on cancer patient care. The core provides support for every stage of cancer research, including study design, data acquisition, data analysis and publication.
The Bioinformatics Core, which resides within the Division of Biomedical Statistics and Informatics, also facilitates collaborative research opportunities between Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center researchers and Mayo Clinic bioinformatics faculty. The core closely partners with Mayo Clinic information technology staff to develop bioinformatics workflows and systems.
