Overview

The Survey Research Center at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota, is an institutional core that provides survey research services to help investigators gather data about opinions, attitudes and outcomes from patients, healthcare professionals and other populations.

Beginning with an initial consultation and continuing through survey implementation and data interpretation, the Survey Research Center advises and assists investigators during every step of the survey process. The center contributes to more than 200 projects each year, from small local surveys to large national and international surveys.

To advance the field of survey research and continually improve its services, the Survey Research Center regularly conducts research into nonresponse, measurement error and similar topics. The center's staff members disseminate their findings through peer-reviewed journals and conferences, such as the AAPOR (American Association for Public Opinion Research) annual conference.

The Survey Research Center supports all Mayo Clinic faculty and staff engaged in research. The center also is a shared resource of Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center — Research. Our services are not available to non-Mayo investigators.
