Sample preparation: Scanning electron microscopy

Electron Microscopy Core staff prepare specimens for scanning electron microscopy evaluation.

For fixed wet tissue specimens, this includes dehydration and critical point drying. Then staff members mount specimens on stubs and coat them with a conductive metal.
