The core provides cell sorting services using four cell sorters to isolate target cell populations.

Flow cytometry cell sorting

The core facility houses four cell sorting flow cytometers to isolate specific subpopulations of fluorescently labeled cells or particles. These instruments support both four-way bulk sorting and single-cell sorting into multiwell plates.

Core staff members operate the BD FACSAria fusion flow cytometers, while trained users may operate the BD FACSMelody cell sorters independently. All users must complete a biosafety questionnaire prior to scheduling any sorting appointments.
