About this study

This Phase 2, two-arm, open-label study is designed to evaluate the safety, clinical activity, predictive biomarkers and pharmacokinetics/ pharmacodynamics of durvalumab in combination with R-CHOP (Arm A) or R2-CHOP (Arm B), followed by durvalumab consolidation therapy in previously untreated subjects with high-risk DLBCL. Patients with non-ABC subtype (determined by gene expression profiling) will be allocated to Arm A while patients with ABC (activated B-cell type) subtype will be allocated to Arm B. Approximately 120 patients may be enrolled and assigned into the appropriate treatment arms dependent upon their cell of origin status. Induction treatment with R-CHOP (± Lenalidomide) will last for a total of up to 6 to 8 treatment cycles (21 days cycle), and the total time on study treatment, including durvalumab consolidation, will last up to 12 months.

About this study

This phase II trial studies F-18 16 alpha-fluoroestradiol (FES) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) in predicting response to endocrine therapy in patients with newly diagnosed breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. FES is a radioactive form of the hormone estrogen and may "light up" where cancer is in the body. Diagnostic procedures using FES, such as FES PET/CT, may help measure the FES and help doctors predict how well the cancer will respond to treatment.

About this study

This randomized phase III trial studies oxaliplatin, leucovorin calcium, fluorouracil, and bevacizumab to see how well they work compared to oxaliplatin, leucovorin calcium, and fluorouracil in treating patients who have undergone surgery for stage II colon cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as oxaliplatin, leucovorin calcium, and fluorouracil, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. It is not yet known whether giving combination chemotherapy together with bevacizumab is more effective than combination chemotherapy alone in treating colon cancer.

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate if the combination of trivalent adenovirus-5 (Tri-Ad5) vaccines and IL-15 superagonist N-803 reduces the incidence of colorectal neoplasms in patients with Lynch syndrome (LS).

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the side effects and best dose of CB-839 hydrochloride (CB-839) in combination with radiation therapy and temozolomide in treating participants with IDH-mutated diffuse or anaplastic astrocytoma. CB-839 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or stopping them from spreading. Giving CB-839 with radiation therapy and temozolomide may work better in treating participants with IDH-mutated diffuse astrocytoma or anaplastic astrocytoma.

About this study

The puporse of this trial is to compare less intense hormone therapy and radiation therapy to usual hormone therapy and radiation therapy in treating patients with high risk prostate cancer and low gene risk score. This trial also compares more intense hormone therapy and radiation therapy to usual hormone therapy and radiation therapy in patients with high risk prostate cancer and high gene risk score. Abiraterone acetate may help fight prostate cancer by lowering the amount of testosterone made by the body. Apalutamide may help fight prostate cancer by blocking the use of androgen by the tumor cells. Radiation therapy uses high energy rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Giving a shorter hormone therapy treatment may work the same at controlling prostate cancer compared to the usual 24 month hormone therapy treatment in patients with low gene risk score. Adding abiraterone acetate and apalutamide to the usual treatment may increase the length of time without prostate cancer spreading as compared to the usual treatment in patients with high gene risk score.

About this study

This phase II MATCH trial studies how well treatment that is directed by genetic testing works in patients with solid tumors or lymphomas that have progressed following at least one line of standard treatment or for which no agreed upon treatment approach exists. Genetic tests look at the unique genetic material (genes) of patients' tumor cells. Patients with genetic abnormalities (such as mutations, amplifications, or translocations) may benefit more from treatment which targets their tumor's particular genetic abnormality. Identifying these genetic abnormalities first may help doctors plan better treatment for patients with solid tumors, lymphomas, or multiple myeloma.

About this study

This randomized phase II trial studies how well tamoxifen citrate works compared with z-endoxifen hydrochloride in treating patients with breast cancer that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes or other parts of the body and has estrogen receptors but not human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) receptors on the surface of its cells. Estrogen can cause the growth of tumor cells. Hormone therapy using tamoxifen citrate or z-endoxifen hydrochloride may fight breast cancer by lowering the amount of estrogen the body makes. It is not yet known whether tamoxifen citrate or z-endoxifen hydrochloride is more effective in treating patients with breast cancer.
