Care Partners and Patients Navigating Year 1 of Dyadic Self-Management post-LVAD (CaPP Navigating Y1LVAD)

The purpose of this study is to conduct a 6-month longitudinal study of 30 patient/care partner dyads who had an LVAD implanted within the last 6 months. We will comprehensively characterize LVAD self-care trajectories. Our team comprises investigators with experience in heart failure, LVAD patients and care partners, self-management, longitudinal data analysis, and HRQoL.

Characterizing Sleep Health, Sleep Disorders, and Cognitive Functioning After Heart Transplantation
