Following Longitudinal Outcomes To Understand, Report, Intervene And Sustain Health Of Infants, Children And Adolescents Who Are HIV-Exposed Uninfected (FLOURISH) Cohort Study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate short- and long-term health and development differences in outcomes and identify possible biological, social and structural mechanisms for differences between infants, children and adolescents who remain HIV-uninfected following in utero exposure to HIV, and where applicable, maternal antiretroviral (ARV) drugs, as well as ARV drugs as prophylaxis after birth compared to infants, children and adolescents born to women without HIV.

Neurodevelopment In HEU Children Exposed In Utero To Dolutegravir Or Efavirenz

The purpose of this study is to enroll three new cohorts of children and their mothers in Botswana in order to follow children’s neurodevelopmental and social-emotional outcomes and mothers’ mental health and sleep status in:
- 200 HEU children previously exposed in utero to EFV/TDF/XTC and their mothers (XTC indicates either 3TC or FTC);
- 200 HEU children previously exposed in utero to DTG/TDF/XTC and their mothers;
- 160 HUU children and their mothers.

Neurodevelopmental Outcomes in Children with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome Who Underwent Delivery of Autologous Umbilical Cord Derived Mononuclear Cells During Cardiac Surgery: A Pilot Study

The purpose of this study is to assess neurodevelopmental and psychosocial outcomes (i.e., executive function, social cognition, psychosocial adjustment, adaptive skills) in children with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) who underwent right-ventricle-directed delivery of autologous umbilical cord derived mononuclear cells during staged cardiac surgical palliation, and to compare their outcomes to a matched sample of children with HLHS who did not receive autologous umbilical cord derived mononuclear cells during surgery.
