Community Outreach Education
Education plays a valuable role in shaping individual health and lifestyles.
Outreach education materials provide learning opportunities tailored for those with dementia-related illnesses, including the health threats they face. This education provides valuable support to those affected by Lewy body dementia, their families and caregivers.
This community outreach education also provides tools to build knowledge and support in an easy-to-access format. The Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA) Research Centers of Excellence program is committed to developing community outreach education on an ongoing basis.
All articles have been drafted and edited by members of the Community Education and Support Working Group of the LBDA and edited and approved by Angela Taylor, LBDA, and Bradley C. Boeve, M.D., LBDA Research Center of Excellence Coordinating Center at Mayo Clinic.
