Residents and fellows

The Department of Radiology funds the pursuit of hypothesis-driven research projects by radiology residents. The program includes a series of introductory lectures, mentorship, peer review of proposed research projects, presentations at national and international meetings, and publications. The department offers an investigative radiology track and a clinical investigator track for residents and fellows interested in an academic career.

Research training opportunities

The department offers a radiology research fellowship program, which is a catalyst for established researchers to hire staff members with a Ph.D. for a two-year period to pursue novel research ideas with the expectation of generating unique federally funded projects.
