About this study

The objectives of this study are to determine the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) and the Recommended Phase 2 Dose (RP2D) of NMS-03305293 in combination with temozolomide (TMZ) in patients with diffuse gliomas at first relapse (Phase I), and to determine the antitumor effectiveness of the combination of NMS-03305293 and TMZ in patients with isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) wild type glioblastoma at first relapse as measured by the 6-month Progression Free Survival (PFS) rate (Phase II).

About this study

The purpose of this trial is to evaluate how well ibrutinib and obinutuzumab with or without venetoclax work in treating patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Ibrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as obinutuzumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as venetoclax, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving ibrutinib, obinutuzumab and venetoclax may work better in treating patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

About this study

The purpose of this study is to identify the side effects and best dose of abemaciclib when given together with olaparib in treating patients with ovarian cancer that responds at first to treatment with drugs that contain the metal platinum but then comes back within a certain period (recurrent platinum-resistant). Abemaciclib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Olaparib is an inhibitor of PARP, an enzyme that helps repair deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) when it becomes damaged. Blocking PARP may help keep tumor cells from repairing their damaged DNA, causing them to die. PARP inhibitors are a type of targeted therapy. Adding abemaciclib to olaparib may work better to treat recurrent platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.

About this study

This phase II trial tests how well nivolumab in combination with chemotherapy drugs along with radiation therapy works in treating patients with nasopharyngeal cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs, such as gemcitabine and cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays, particles, or radioactive seeds to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Researchers want to find out what effects, good and/or bad, adding nivolumab to chemotherapy has on patients with newly diagnosed NPC. In addition, they want to find out if children with NPC may be treated with less radiation therapy and whether this decreases the side effects of therapy.

About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine how well the addition of olaparib to the usual treatment, temozolomide, works in treating patients with neuroendocrine cancer (pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma) that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). PARPs are proteins that help repair DNA mutations. PARP inhibitors, such as olaparib, can keep PARP from working, so tumor cells can't repair themselves, and they may stop growing. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving olaparib with temozolomide may shrink or stabilize the cancer in patients with pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma better than temozolomide alone.

About this study

The primary objective of Part 1 of this study is to define the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and/or the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of CC-220 in combination with rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone given in 21-day treatment cycles (R-CHOP-21) and CC99282 in combination with R-CHOP-21 in subjects with previously untreated, high risk (International Prognostic Index [IPI] 3 to 5), a-BCL.

The primary objective of Part 2 of this study is to further evaluate the safety and tolerability associated with CC-220 and CC-99282 at the RP2D in combination with R-CHOP-21 in subjects with previously untreated, high-risk (IPI 3 to 5), a-BCL.

The primary purpose of this study is to compare overall survival between two treatment arms, with lenalidomide as the comparator arm and lenalidomide + daratumumab/rHuPH20 as the experimental arm, in post-autologous transplant multiple myeloma (MM) patients.

About this study

This randomized phase II/III trial studies how well radiation therapy works when given together with cisplatin compared to docetaxel or cetuximab and docetaxel after surgery in treating patients with stage III-IV squamous cell head and neck cancer. Specialized radiation therapy that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin and docetaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as cetuximab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or transmit tumor killing molecules to them. It is not yet known whether radiation therapy is more effective when given with cisplatin, docetaxel, or cetuximab and docetaxel.
