A Study Of Survey Of Life After An Acute Cardiac Event

About this study

The purpose of this study is to to determine the levels and type of distress in the year post-SCAD event and to determine the pattern of distress in the year post-SCAD.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients who experienced ACS with or without SCAD, as determined by the gold standard, coronary angiogram, in the past 3 months.

  • Participants are ≥ 18 years of age.

  • Participants are able to provide informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients experiencing cognitive impairments that may preclude questionnaire completion.

  • Patients who are not able to read in English or French (questionnaires are validated in English and French).
