About the Center
The Opus Building is home to the Center for Advanced Imaging Research. At 40,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art building is one of the largest in the country used exclusively for imaging research. Imaging equipment available includes whole body 1.5 T and 3.0 T MRI scanners.
Multiple research laboratories are housed in the Opus Building, creating valuable collaborations to advance the science of imaging. Mayo Clinic imaging researchers have a long history of developing cutting-edge applications for patient care, and they continue to discover new imaging technologies that lead to better understanding, prevention and treatment of diseases.
