Training Opportunities
Dr. Riederer's laboratory provides career-advancing training for undergraduates, graduate students and postdoctoral research fellows.
Undergraduates
Those who are interested in a career in science are encouraged to apply to Mayo Clinic's Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF). Prospective SURF applicants specifically interested in working in the Magnetic Resonance Laboratory should contact Dr. Riederer directly.
Graduate students
Dr. Riederer has served as the principal adviser for over two dozen trainees who have earned doctoral degrees with dissertation research in MRI. These students are generally enrolled in the Ph.D. Program's Biomedical Engineering and Physiology Track through Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
