Dr. Joyner is a strong proponent of research training and education. The Human and Integrative Physiology and Clinical Pharmacology Laboratory has helped train numerous postdocs, medical students and undergrads, providing them with a valuable opportunity to further their education and career. Many of our former fellows have established research programs at leading institutions throughout the world.

Numerous undergraduate students in our lab have participated in the Undergraduate Research Employment Program (UREP) and the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) at Mayo Clinic or have been an American Physiological Society (APS) fellow.
