The main research interests of Edward R. Laskowski, M.D., involve the areas of fitness, wellness, injury "protection," conditioning, and strength and stability training. Related projects have included a series of investigations on proprioception of the low back and the effect of stability training after ankle injury.
The goal of all of Dr. Laskowski's research is to translate the findings into practical interventions that an individual can incorporate into his or her sports and fitness lifestyle, as well as ensure the safety and effectiveness of exercise.
