The purpose of this study is to measure the neurodevelopmental impact incurred by children receiving usual care ECMO for PARDS.
The purpose of this study is to to determine if Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB) is an independent risk factor for development of Primary Graft Dysfunction (PGD) as compared to Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) even when adjusted for all other recipient, donor, biologic and operative risk factors.
The objective of this study will be to prospectively evaluate the response of a continuous infusion of recombinant human antithrombin concentrate (rhAT) (ATRYN®) to achieve and maintain the AT activity within a specified range in adult patients that require extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) following cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) and cardiac surgery.
