About this study

This study will test any good and bad effects of the study drug called enzalutamide. Enzalutamide could shrink the cancer but it could also cause side effects. Researchers hope to learn if the study drug will shrink the cancer by at least 30% compared to its present size, in at least 1 out of 5 patients. Enzalutamide is not FDA approved to treat salivary gland cancer, but it has already been FDA-approved to treat other cancers.

About this study

This is an open-label, multi-institutional phase II randomized study comparing neoadjuvant radiotherapy followed by surgical resection to neoadjuvant pembrolizumab with concurrent radiotherapy, followed by surgical resection and adjuvant pembrolizumab. The total duration of pembrolizumab will be one year in the experimental arm.

About this study

This is a multicentre, randomised, double-blind (DB), parallel-group, placebo-controlled, 24-week Phase III study to compare the efficacy and safety of benralizumab versus placebo administered by SC injection Q4W in patients with hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES). This study comprises 2 distinct periods (together defined as the 'main study'): A 24-week, DB treatment period, during which patients will be randomised to receive either benralizumab or placebo, in addition to prior stable HES background therapy, and an open-label (OLE) treatment period, during which all patients will receive benralizumab. The primary database lock (DBL) will occur when at least 47 patients have had their first HES worsening/flare event and all randomised patients have been followed up for the 24-week DB treatment period. The target patient population is male and female patients 12 years of age and older with symptomatic active HES. Approximately 120 eligible patients will be randomised at a 1:1 ratio to receive either benralizumab or matching placebo.

About this study

The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness and safety of Momelotinib (MMB) to Danazol (DAN) in treating and reducing disease related symptoms, the need for blood transfusions, and splenomegaly, in adults with primary Myelofibrosis (MF), post-polycythemia vera MF or post-essential thrombocythemia MF.

MOMENTUM is a randomized, double-blind, active control Phase 3 trial intended to confirm the differentiated clinical benefits of the investigational drug momelotinib (MMB) versus danazol (DAN) in symptomatic and anemic subjects who have previously received an approved Janus kinase inhibitor (JAKi) therapy for myelofibrosis (MF). The purpose of this clinical study is to c The study is planned in countries including, but not limited to: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, and US. About this study

The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of adding pembrolizumab to gemcitabine in treating patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer whose cancer does not respond to Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) treatment. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine, work in different ways by stopping the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the patient's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Adding pembrolizumab to gemcitabine may delay the return of BCG-unresponsive bladder cancer for longer period compared to gemcitabine alone.

This phase I trial studies the side effects and the best dose of stereotactic body radiation therapy in treating patients with breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, or prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Stereotactic body radiation therapy delivers fewer, tightly-focused, high doses of radiation therapy to all known sites of cancer in the body while minimizing radiation exposure of surrounding normal tissue.

The purpose of this study is to determine if CBD oil has any effect on decreasing postoperative pain control following ureteroscopy for urinary stone disease, and to determine if CBD oil has any effect in decreasing the amount of postoperative opioids (commonly used drug) used by patients after undergoing ureteroscopy for urinary stone disease.
