About this study

The purpose of this study is to test a medicine, NNC6019-0001, for people who have a heart disease due to TTR amyloidosis. It will look at how safe this medicine is in the long term and if it can reduce symptoms of a heart disease due to TTR amyloidosis, such as heart failure. It is an extension to a study called "A research study to look at how a new medicine called NNC6019-0001 works and how safe it is for people who have a heart disease due to TTR amyloidosis". Only participants who have completed that study will be invited for this new study. Participants will get NNC6019-0001, regardless of whether they got placebo or NNC6019-0001 in the first study. The study will last for up to 157 weeks (36 months/3 years).

About this study

About this study

This study aims to compare an additional support program (text message reminders and/or telephone-based counseling) with usual care in making sure breast cancer patients take their endocrine therapy medication as prescribed (medication adherence).

About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine whether adjuvant chemotherapy (ACT) added to ovarian function suppression (OFS) plus endocrine therapy (ET) is superior to OFS plus ET in improving invasive breast cancer-free survival (IBCFS) among premenopausal, early- stage breast cancer (EBC) patients with estrogen receptor (ER)-positive, HER2-negative tumors and 21-gene recurrence score (RS) between 16-25 (for pN0 patients) and 0-25 (for pN1 patients).

The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of fulvestrant to anastrozole or tamoxifen in treating invasive lobular breast cancer, by measuring the level of the biomarker Ki67 found in tumor tissue before and then after treatment.

About this study

This study is open to adults with chronic heart failure (HF) who have a reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of less than 40%. People can join the study if they have been diagnosed with chronic HF at least 3 months before the study. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called vicadrostat, in combination with another medicine called empagliflozin, helps people with chronic heart failure.

In this study, participants are put into 2 groups randomly. Participants have an equal chance of being in either group. One group takes vicadrostat and empagliflozin tablets, and the other group takes placebo and empagliflozin tablets. Placebo tablets look like vicadrostat tablets but do not contain any medicine. Participants take the study medicines as tablets once a day for between 1 and about 3.5 years. During this time, they can continue their regular treatment for heart failure.

Participants can stay in the study as long as they benefit from treatment and can tolerate it, for a maximum of about 3.5 years. During this time, they visit the study site regularly. The exact number of visits is different for each participant, depending on how long they stay in the study. The study staff may also contact the participants by phone. Participants also regularly answer questions about their well-being. The doctors document when participants experience worsening of their heart failure symptoms, must go to hospital due to heart failure, or die during the study. The time until these events are observed is compared between the treatment groups to see whether the treatment works. The doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.

About this study

This phase II trial studies the effect of ascorbic acid and combination chemotherapy in treating patients with lymphoma that has come back (recurrent) or does not respond to therapy (refractory), clonal cytopenia of undetermined significance and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML). Ascorbic acid may make cancer cells more sensitive to chemotherapy. Drugs used in chemotherapy, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving ascorbic acid and combination chemotherapy may kill more cancer cells.
