About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine whether a combination of biomarker/ALK inhibitors or chemotherapy may work better in treating patients with ALK positive non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer. This National Cancer Institute (NCI)-NRG ALK Protocol phase II trial studies how well a combination of different biomarker/ALK inhibitors work in treating patients with stage IV ALK positive non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer. Lorlatinib, ceritinib, alectinib, brigatinib, ensartinib, and crizotinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as pemetrexed, cisplatin, and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.

About this study

This is a Phase 1 / 2 open-label study to assess the safety and tolerability of APL-101, to determine the RP2D and dose limiting toxicities for APL-101, and to obtain preliminary efficacy in subjects
with c-Met dysregulation in advanced malignancies and Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). c-Met dysregulation will be determined by local/archival molecular pre-screening evaluations for eligibility of enrollment.
Mayo Clinic will be participating in both Part A (Phase 1) & (Phase 2) B of the study.

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of tiragolumab plus atezolizumab and carboplatin and etoposide (CE) compared with placebo plus atezolizumab and CE in participants with chemotherapy-naive extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC). Eligible participants will be randomized 1:1 to receive one of the following treatment regimens during induction phase:- -Arm A: Tiragolumab plus atezolizumab and CE -Arm B: Placebo plus atezolizumab and CE Following the induction phase, participants will continue maintenance therapy with either atezolizumab plus tiragolumab (Arm A) or atezolizumab plus placebo (Arm B).

About this study

This randomized, Phase I/III, multicenter, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study is designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of atezolizumab (anti-programmed death ligand 1 [anti-PD-L1]) in combination with carboplatin plus (+) etoposide compared with treatment with placebo + carboplatin + etoposide in treatment-naive participants with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC). Participants will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either atezolizumab + carboplatin + etoposide or placebo + carboplatin + etoposide on 21 day-cycles for 4 cycles in the induction phase followed by maintenance with atezolizumab or placebo until disease progression (PD) as assessed by the investigator using Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1 (RECIST v1.1). Treatment can be continued until persistent radiographic PD or symptomatic deterioration.

About this study

This phase II trial studies the side effects of durvalumab and tremelimumab and to see how well they work with or without high or low-dose radiation therapy in treating patients with colorectal or non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab and tremelimumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Giving durvalumab and tremelimumab with radiation therapy may work better in treating patients with colorectal or non-small cell lung cancer.
