Review Of Posterior Clavicle Dislocation

The purpose of this study is to examine trends in incidence and management of patients who had posterior sternoclavicular dislocation or anterior sternoclavicular dislocation injury treated operatively or non-operatively between 1995 – onwards.
Also, to examine the long-term outcomes of patients who had a posterior sternoclavicular dislocation or anterior sternoclavicular dislocation treated operatively or non-operatively with respect to the following outcomes: rate of surgical intervention and trends over time, rate of reoperation or revision, development of non-operative complications following posterior sternoclavicular dislocation or anterior sternoclavicular dislocation, comparison of long-term outcomes (any infection, pain, return to baseline, and non-operative complications) between surgical approaches and non-operative management. Additionally, to evaluate predictive factors associated with differences in long-term outcomes.
