The objectives of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of Daratumumab as an HLA desensitization strategy prior to cardiac transplantation in highly-sensitized patients.
The purpose of this study is to characterize the acoustic features of normal left ventricular assist device (LVAD) pump function using spectrography and fast Fourier transformation. The study will also identify abnormalities seen in the acoustic spectrograms of those patients presenting with LVAD thrombosis. Furthermore, the study aims to follow patients where abnormalities are seen in order to ascertain which features are predictive of the development of pump thrombosis and may be considered early markers thereof.
The purpose of this study is to study circulating progenitor cells in human subjects with heart failure and before and after LVAD therapy.
