The purpose of this study is to Assess the fidelity of using a kiosk model to detect safety-sensitive physical abnormalities in a study cohort with both normal physical and known physical deficiencies. Determine technological limitations in instrumentation and software used within a kiosk model. Obtain satisfaction data from providers in performing forensic physical examinations remotely for certification of safety-sensitive maneuvers (i.e. operation of aircraft).
The purpose of this study is address one portion of the impending FAA critical manpower shortage and testing access concerns by developing telemedicine kiosks specifically for certification purposes.
