About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate prostate MRE in patients with elevated PSA or abnormal diagnostic MRI undergoing in-bore MRI guided prostate biopsy where we will compare the MRE findings to the biopsy core positions and prior diagnostic imaging; to evaluate prostate MRE in native prostate cancer patients undergoing MR guided focal cryoablation where we will perform MRE prior to the cryoablation treatment and after the final ablation where we will compare pre-treatment MRE to post-treatment MRE images; to evaluate prostate MRE in recurrent prostate cancer patients undergoing MR guided focal ablation where we will perform MRE prior to the cryoablation treatment and after the final cryoablation where we will compare pre-treatment MRE to post-treatment MRE images.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate.
