A Study Of PRIME Model To Identify High-Risk Individuals For Pancreatic Cancer Screening

About this study

The purpose of this study is to implement the PRIME model in clinical setting in partnership with ANIMATE at Mayo Clinic, Rochester to identify HRI patients for primary care provider review of risk factors and referral to germline variant testing and/or PDAC screening, as well as to systematically monitor progress from risk identification to completion of orders.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

Providers:

  • Mayo Clinic primary care providers from Rochester and MCHS

Patients:

  • All adult patients currently in the panel for participating primary care providers within the Mayo Clinic Primary Care

  • Valid MN research authorization

Exclusion Criteria: 

Providers:

  • Primary care providers in training at Rochester and MCHS (Residents and fellows)

  • Non-primary care providers

 Patients:

  • Age <18 years
