A Study Of Indolent Systemic Mastocytosis (PRISM)

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to identify -omics signature profiles correlating with and predictive of SM symptomatology and to evaluate -omics signature profiles of differing SM therapies, along with comparing -omics signature profiles with currently used urinary studies of mast cell mediators.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Signed informed consent form.

  • Diagnosis of indolent systemic mastocytosis as defined by the World Health Organization 2022 criteria.

  • Adults ≥ 18 years of age or older.

  • Doses of baseline treatment medications are stable for ≥ 14 days prior to enrollment.

  • Patient must have an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group Performance Status of 0 to 2.

 

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Age <18 years old.

  • Diagnosis of advanced systemic mastocytosis defined by established criteria as outlined by the World Health Organization 2022 criteria.

  • Patient must not have had any cytoreductive therapy including but not limited to cladribine, interferon alpha, pegylated interferon, or antibody therapy < 28 days prior to enrollment.

  • Any other significant medical issue as determined by the principal investigator.
