A Study Of AI Voice Analysis And Spirometry Platform For Monitoring In Lung Transplant

About this study

The purpose of this study is correlation coefficient between voice signals and spirometry data.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age >18

  • Bilateral lung transplant

  • Discharged within the last 30 days after a lung transplant surgery

  • Able to speak and read the study language (e.g., English) well enough to complete the voice tasks

  • Have a functioning smartphone and record their voice on it

  

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Age <18

  • Unwilling to provide consent for the study

  • Single lung transplant

  • Presence of Tracheostomy

  • Presence of an airway stent

  • Vocal cord paralysis/paresis
