A Study Of Emergency Department Guidance For Long COVID And ME/CFS

About this study

The purpose of this study is to anonymously capture patient-reported chief complaints and ED care experiences from people with clinically diagnosed ME/CFS and/or Long COVID who have sought ED care.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

Clinical diagnosis of ME/CFS and/or Long COVID
Sought care in the Emergency Department within the past ten (10) years
Had ME/CFS and/or Long COVID symptoms when visiting the ED (even if not yet diagnosed)
Age 18 years or older
Live in the United States

Exclusion Criteria:

Under 18 years old
Not living in the United States
Has not sought ED care within the past 10 years
Does not have a clinical diagnosis of ME/CFS and/or Long COVID
