A Study Of Broadband Quality On Video Visits Among Mayo Clinic Cancer Patients

About this study

The purpose of this study is to assess the association of the Digital Equity Screening Tool (DEST) score and other social determinants of health (SDoH) and individual factors associated with the utilization of video visits among cancer patients in a geographical area with the highest and lowest broadband (BB) deployment.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Mayo Clinic Midwest (Rochester or Mayo Clinic Health System) living adult cancer patients seeking ongoing care

  • Research authorization.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • > 18 yeas of age.
