A Study Of Gallium-68-labeled Fibroblast Activation Protein Inhibitor-46 (68Ga-FAPI-46) PET In Crohn’s Disease Patients

About this study

The purpose of this study is to understand the spectrum and relationship between FAP expression and fibrosis as measured using across 68Ga-FAPI-46 PET/CT across the spectrum of small bowel Crohn’s disease phenotypes and morphologies.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Research or clinical MR enterography, or clinical CT enterography within 3 months demonstrating CD small bowel strictures or luminal narrowing, as defined by:

  • Male or female with age greater than 18 years old.

  • Diagnosis of Crohn’s disease by a gastroenterologist.

  • Willingness to undergo 68Ga-FAPI-46 PET/CT.

  • Subjects with the capacity to give informed consent and willingness to provide a written consent as well as willingness to answer a standardized symptom questionnaire at the time of 68Ga-FAPI-46 PET/CT

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Pregnant and/or breast-feeding subjects.

  • Hypersensitivity to any excipients in 68Ga-FAPI-46
