About this study

The purpose of the study is assess patient perceptions regarding disease knowledge, treatment practices, and psychosocial impact in individuals diagnosed with vulvar lichen planus (LP) or lichen sclerosus (LS) using a structured, newly developed questionnaire.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Female patients aged ≥18 years

  • Diagnosed with vulvar lichen planus or lichen sclerosus (new or follow-up cases)

  • Able to understand and complete the questionnaire in English

  • Subject is willing to provide informed consent

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients with unclear diagnosis or conditions mimicking LP/LS (e.g., chronic dermatitis, vulvar psoriasis)

  • Non-consenting patients

  • Cognitive or psychiatric impairments interfering with survey comprehension
