A Study Of Alternatives To The Paramedian Forehead Flap

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to retrospectively review our past cases of post-MMS nasal reconstruction in which an alternative approach was utilized when PMFF would typically be indicated, but suboptimal. We will also retrospectively review cases for procedure complications (if present). Specifically, we seek to identify patient-specific factors and alternative techniques that can maintain aesthetic cosmesis/nasal function while avoiding a PMFF when indicated but not ideal, thus further refining risk-stratification and optimizing/personalizing treatment strategies for these patients.
