Morel-Lavallee Lesion in Wrestlers

Overview

About this study

The aim of this study is to describe management and outcomes (subjective function, return to play, complications) of competitive wrestlers presenting with Morel-Lavallee Lesion.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • We will identify wrestlers with MLL. This will likely involve pediatric patients which is a vulnerable population, however we will not be doing anything vulnerable to them. A chart review will be performed to determine outcomes after sustaining an MLL.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients who sustain a MLL while not participating in the sport of wrestling.

Note: Other protocol defined Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria may apply.

Eligibility last updated 8/09/2024. Questions regarding updates should be directed to the study team contact.
