Inclusive Online Interactive Platform for Parents in Rural Settings to Promote Healthy Habits

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to develop and pilot a functional prototype of a digital platform we are calling Parent Health Promotor (PHP). The purpose of PHP is to prompt and support parents in facilitating positive health behavior change within their families for long-term health and mitigate risk for cardiometabolic conditions. This project will focus specifically on parents/guardians living in rural areas with attention to ethnic/racial intersectionality, given documented health disparities related to metabolic health and related health behaviors.
