A Study Of Processed EEG Utility During Liver Transplantation

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate changes in anesthetic needs during different periods of liver transplantation and correlate this to changes on EEG.  The investigators are also interested in characterizing post-induction pre-incision EEG (power in frequency bands, entropy, etc.) in these frail patients.  Correlations between EEG findings and patient outcomes will be evaluated.
