Virtual Reality for Blood Pressure Reduction with Validation Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM)

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a calming virtual reality (VR) environment in reducing office blood pressure (OBP) among patients with suspected white coat hypertension (WCH) or white coat effect (WCE). Effectiveness will be assessed by comparing pre- and post-VR OBP measurements. WCH/WCE diagnosis will be confirmed using ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM).
