Novel cholangiopancreatoscope with a large rotating channel for pancreatobiliary disorders

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usability of a CPS platform equipped with a novel rotating channel design. The study will recruit patients undergoing ERCP with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as part of routine clinical care for pancreaticobiliary diseaseTo evaluate the ergonomics and user workload of the novel device using validated, modified standardized evaluation.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adults >18 years old with indeterminate or malignant biliary stricture
  • Participants able to provide consent

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Age<18 years
  • Patients who are pregnant
