Birth Control Practices in People of Childbearing Potential with Epilepsy

About this study

The pupose of this study is to characterize women's attitudes and perceptions about whether their contraception method affects their seizure frequency.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patient's sex assigned at birth is female
  • Patient is taking a daily anti-seizure medication to prevent seizures
  • Diagnosis of epilepsy/seizures for at least 1 year
  • Age 18-47 years old

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Unable to complete survey
