Overview

About this study

The primary goal of this study is to establish a database of underrepresented populations who consented to be contacted for biomedical research including clinical trials and bio-specimen research. The database will serve as sampling frames for selecting healthy individuals who initially meet specific study eligibility criteria.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adults ≥18 years of age.

  • dentify as a member from an underserved, understudied, and underresourced population in research (including, but not limited to living in a rural or remote area; having a disability; your age, background, language, culture, or life experiences that affect how you get health care; you have experienced financial hardship or limited access to education, job opportunities, or safe neighborhoods).

  • Able to read, or write, or have someone assist in English, Spanish, Somali, French, and/or Creole.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Legal inability or restricted legal ability.

  • Medical or psychological conditions that do not allow proper study completion.

  • ndividuals <18 years of age.

  • Do not identify as members of an underserved, understudied, and underresourced population (including, but not limited to living in a rural or remote area; having a disability; your age, background, language, culture, or life experiences that affect how you get health care; you have experienced financial hardship or limited access to education, job opportunities, or safe neighborhoods).

  • Unable to read, or write, or have no one assist in English, Spanish, Somali, French, and/or Creole.
