About this study

The purpose of this study is to explore thoughts and experiences of bladder cancer patients who underwent radical cystectomy at Mayo Clinic Florida through qualitative interviews.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adults, age ≥ 18years of age.
  • English-speaking.
  • Have undergone radical cystectomy for the treatment of bladder cancer at Mayo Clinic'c campus in Jacksonville, FL.
  • Able and willing to consent to participate in phone interview.

Exclusion Criteria:

 

  • Individuals < 18 years if age
  • Non-English speaking.
  • Unable ornwilling to provide informed consent.
  • Having undergone radical cystectomy for a reason other than bladder cancer.
