A Study to Evaluate Renal Allograft Fibrosis by MRI


About this study

The purpose of this study is to validate an MRI method to detect renal fibrosis in patients after kidney transplantation (KT).

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • We will recruit 20 men and women.
  • 18-80 years of age.
  • Any race or ethnicity.
  • Scheduled for surveillance kidney biopsies 4 years (n=10) or 7 years (n=10) after living donor KT for end-stage kidney disease.
