Bioengineered Cardiac Tissue for Cardiomyopathy Analysis

About this study

The design of these studies is focused on obtaining reprogrammed cells to study cardiac function of people with cardiomyopathy and compare cells from others without cardiomyopathy.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients age 0-100 years with clinically diagnosed cardiomyopathy, their unaffected biological family members, and/or unrelated healthy controls and/or  IRB# 13-00008 participants.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Subjects with allergy to subcutaneous lidocaine, bupivicaine, or epinephrine.
