Discordance of Umbilical Artery Flow in Intrauterine Growth Restriction of Singleton Gestations

About this study

The purpose of this study is to identify the frequency of umbilical artery flow discordance and progression of resistance and changes in flow in fetuses affected by intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR).

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Singleton gestation
  • Intrauterine growth restriction identified between 23 0/7 and 37 0/7 weeks gestation, with dating US prior to 20 0/7 weeks gestation
  • Maternal age ≥ 18 years old at the time of consent

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Multifetal gestation
  • Single umbilical artery
