A Study to Evaluate the Usability of a Web-based Software Application for the Writing of Electronic Health Records-driven Phentyping Algorithms (Complicated System of Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria to Place Patients into Groups)

About this study

The purpose of this study is to engage community members in trying a Web-based software program for writing Electronic Health Records -driven phenotyping algorithms, a complicated system of inclusion and exclusion criteria to place patients into groups. It will explore the decisive and creative use of words, and the behavior towards the program and other people present.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • 18 years or older
  • Members of larger Rochester MN community and the Mayo Clinic, patient and family visitors.
  • From all economic backgrounds, educational levels, ethnicities, religions, and races
  • Willingness to speak in a group setting

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Not a member of the above-named group
