Dissemination and Implementation Science
Dissemination and implementation (D&I) science is conducted within the Late-Stage Translational Research program of CCaTS and directed by Juan P. Brito Campana, M.B.B.S., and Aaron L. Leppin, M.D.
D&I research is concerned with understanding the process of bringing evidence-based interventions into practice within health care and community-based settings. Building on over a decade of experience in designing evidence-based patient-centered interventions and evaluating their use in real-life settings, we offer expertise in the theory, practice and study of implementation.
What we investigate:
- Methods of studying the uptake of interventions
- Theoretical models of implementation
- Approaches to tailor interventions to practice and organizational settings
