Research
The Neurosurgery Simulation and Innovations Lab conducts research to advance neurological surgery. We have a state-of-the-art research facility equipped with 3D printers, holographic-capable modalities and other tools.
These tools and technologies are incorporated in a unique environment for advancing the surgical theater for tomorrow, facilitating device innovation, designing new procedures and simulating full surgeries before they're actually performed.
Our lab's structure incorporates technological advances such as robotic surgery and stereotactic navigation systems. Dr. Bendok leads the team in conducting and overseeing clinical trials that focus on answering questions about new devices and novel cutting-edge therapies.
Our research advances benefit people with a wide range of neurovascular disease, including intracranial aneurysms, brain arteriovenous malformations, stroke, meningiomas, brain lesions, moyamoya disease and others. Dr. Bendok's research is driven by his compassion and empathy for people facing these difficult diseases.
