October
- Winning poster presentation by Gowoon Son, Ph.D. Dr. Son won first place for her poster presentation at the 2025 James C. and Sarah K. Kennedy Dean of Research Retreat, hosted by Mayo Clinic in Florida.
August
- Dr. Son won Society for Neuroscience award. Dr. Son was awarded the society's Trainee Professional Development award, which recognizes scientific merit and excellence in research. Recipients receive a travel stipend to offset the costs of attending Neuroscience 2025 as well as a complimentary registration. All in-person recipients present their abstract during a special poster session and attend two professional development workshops during the meeting.

- Dr. Grinberg named as a 2024 influential researcher. Dr. Grinberg was included in Clarivate's list of highly cited researchers of 2024.

July
- Grinberg Lab presentation at AAIC24. Published researchers from the Grinberg Lab presented at the 2024 Alzheimer's Association International Conference in Philadelphia. They shared the lab's recent findings, which advance knowledge about Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
April
- Grinberg Lab presented at AAIC Neuroscience Next. Dr. Grinberg's research team presented at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference's "Neuroscience Next" hybrid hubs international conference. As one of the most notable events for Alzheimer's and dementia research and clinical practice globally, AAIC Neuroscience Next supports and promotes young and upcoming investigators in the field. The conference was hosted in seven cities worldwide. Dr. Grinberg's lab was present virtually and on-site at the San Francisco hub to present the team's most recent findings, which help expand knowledge about Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

- Dr. Grinberg presents at CONy 2024. Dr. Grinberg talked about whether sleep disturbance is a risk factor of Alzheimer's disease at the World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) conference in London. She discussed which neurons that are responsible for controlling sleep, what to know about sleep patterns and what sleep disturbance means for people with dementia.
