SUMMARY

Over the past several years, we have put together a multidisciplinary team (psychiatry, psychology, medical and radiation oncology, nursing, physical therapy, social work, and chaplaincy) to address psychosocial and quality-of-life issues in advanced cancer patients and their caregivers.

The next phase of this research will be to expand to the surrounding rural areas including the Mayo Health System and NCCTG sites.
