The primary research focus of Katherine H. Noe, M.D., Ph.D., is in the evaluation and management of adult patients with epilepsy. She examines epilepsy surgery evaluations and outcomes, devices for the treatment of epilepsy, and the management of epilepsy, especially in women. Dr. Noe also studies quality and safety outcomes related to epilepsy care. More broadly, these encompass quality and safety considerations for hospitalized patients.
Dr. Noe's goal is to optimize quality of life and improve clinical outcomes in patients living with epilepsy. She seeks to accomplish this by identifying safe and effective new treatments and by optimizing the quality of care delivered through available tests and treatments.
